What Are You Reading?

I'm reading The Caged Graves by Dianne Salerni.  It really has my attention!  I don't want to eat, sleep or do any housework.  I just want to read.  Yes, it's that good!

What are you reading???

Hugs to all...sorry I've been gone from blogland for a few weeks.  I've been busy critiquing and reading.

I had heard that it's a page-turner. It's on my TBR pile.
I just finished Destiny, Rewritten and am now reading Save the Cat!

I have been looking for some new authors. I'm going to check this one out at the library to see if it's available in e-book!

Thanks for the tip!

Right now I am reading Michael Offutt's Slip Stream. I have a problem reading fiction as I keep forgetting one chapter as I go on to the next one. It takes me forever to a finish a novel.

I have that on in my TBR pile (if e-readers have piles...) Can't wait! :)

I'm reading/enjoying Forever Alexa by Cate Beauman right now - very good romantic suspense!

I'm reading When the Butterflies Came by Kimberley Griffiths Little and Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett.

I just got Meg Wolitzer's THE INTERESTINGS from the library. I was intrigued because I loved Duncan Dorfman.

Hi Sharon,

It's good to see you put up a posting. I can understand your reasons for being somewhat in the background.

It's good a book can grab you. No, not literally :) I'd like to read a book. Instead, I'm reading and filling in forms, I only did a couple of months ago. Sigh...

A peaceful, happy weekend to you. Thank you for your kind, supportive comment on my latest posting.

Hugs,

Gary

Your reading material sounds much more interesting than mine Sharon! I've just finished "Mortal Evidence: The Story of Nine Shocking Cases" - it's a detailed record of the forensic science behind 9 high profile murder cases. Gruesome. About to start reading THE CHILD WHO by Simon Lelic.

I'm also very quiet on blog land - have banned myself from all social media until my next novel is finished, hopefully by November (this year!!) :)

Wow, I love when a book has that effect on us. Hope someday you'll enjoy mine. :)

Oh, I read that book in June too. LOVED it. So captivating. It's one of those books that lingers for a long time after you read it.

I'm currently reading IN DARKNESS by Nick Lake. It's rather intense.

I just reread Fahrenheit 451, and I'm going to start Neil Gaiman's new book any day now! Also reading a wonderful book on archaeology by Mick Aston and Tony Robinson of Time Team - it's research for the current novel, but such fun research!

really? I must pick it up then... I am going back and reading some of Karen Cushman's historical MG - just finished Catherine Called Birdy and now on The Midwife's Apprentice. I've read them before but they are SO good.

Does anyone ever want to do any housework?

Sounds like a great book! I'm reading a freebie I got off Amazon - called Wicked Games. It's hooked me way more than I expected. haha.

I've seen this and it looks really good! No worries on taking a break from blogland--have fun critiquing and reading!! I'm about to start THE NINE LIVES OF CHLOE KING by Liz Braswell. Looks interesting (girl who turns into a catwoman-type being).

Squeee!

As for what I'm reading, I am currently re-reading The Debt Collector, Season 1, by Susan Kaye Quinn.

Re-reading, because I was a CP on this project, and I want to see how it turned out!
