Worth Getting Up For...The Dominican Republic Part 2

 I'm not an early riser.
But when Katherine asked if we could get up to watch the sun rise over the Caribbean Sea, what could I say?
We all got up at 5:45 and were out on the beach by 6:30.
It was a bit cloudy, but it was worth it.  LOVELY!

 Foot prints in the sand...
Toes in the sand...
 Some resort wildlife.
Some beach wild life... (Not me)

This is something we saw on our trip...What do you think it is?

Have an awesome rest of the week and weekend!

  13. One of our favourite trips ever was to the DR. Looks like you're having a fantastic time!
I'll take a wild guess and say tire tracks on the beach reflecting the sky?

  18. Great pictures! I love Love LOVE sunrises...but getting up is not my greatest joy. =)
As for the unique picture, hmmm. I'm going to say a chameleon sitting on the printed purse that you bought at the local market for some tropical flair. (seriously, I have no idea! Just my poor sense of humor)

The last pic looks like infared tire treds or something! Maybe the painted shell of a turtle on a mural?

  21. I used to be 'not' a morning person, but things changed a bit when I joined this office- it starts from 8, I wake up very early these days... but I cannot say that it is entirely without rewards...

  23. Lovely photos! And I'm not envious at all that you experienced this. Really. Even though we woke up to snow this morning.

As for your mystery shot: That's a close up of your forehead after you neglected to use sunscreen the day you shot the sunrise.

    Thanks for sharing the shots!
