The post lady delivered me a wonderful surprise this week! I had forgotten that Random.org had chosen me as one of the winners of Bethany's contest...Bethany has just landed her dream job! You'll have to check out her blog to read about it...
Bethany shared her recipe for Pixie Popcorn in my prize package:
1 bag of popped popcorn
5-6 pixie stixs
Mix together and enjoy while writing...(I hope that you'll hop over and meet Bethany!) Thank you Bethany!!!

Hee hee. Congrats on the awards. I'm not sure what to think of that shirt. Wash when needed? When do you know it is needed? Hum... =d
ReplyDeleteI was preparing for a deep thought for the day when I came to the end of your post -- that made the light moment even lighter for me, Sharon! :-) You deserve all the awards you were given!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the awards! And that shirt? What DO people think??
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the award... Ummm, seriously? Wash when needed? Ummm. I'm amazed.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to you :o)
ReplyDeleteMy least favourite chore would have to be scrubbing out the shower. I would choose to clean toilets over showers anyday!
Congratulations on the awards!
ReplyDeleteAnd Pixie Popcorn sounds really good. Let us know how it turns out.
Hello Sharon,
ReplyDeleteHearty congrats on receiving those two highly coveted and much loved awards. You are indeed a most worthy recipient. Well done.
I shall now endeavour to check out those you have kindly bestowed these highly sought after awards, too. I've every confidence that you have made some excellent choices. And, thank you for noting me and your very kind words. You may have realised that I have been overwhelmed with the praise I have been receiving over at my humble and shy blog. I must remain humble and shy. I must not let all the glowing accolades, go to my head:-) Of course, I would never dream of BEGGING your readers to check out my blog:-)
Thank you, Sharon. I must go now and yell out my window, here, in Leek, just how awesome I am.
Then again...maybe not.
Have a wonderful day and enjoy a flask of coffee.
Peaceful wishes, your way, Gary.

Mmmm, coffee in a flask. YEAH! I knew you and I were gettin' the same vibes. And cupcakes. Hey, me too. Who knew?
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your prize and well deserved awards.
GO Hurricanes! :) hehe
Yea, I get those really moments fairly often. a lot of times it occurs during reading books that everyone I talked to said that it was good a "must read" if you will. I close the book a few chapters later and think really, this is good.
ReplyDeleteBut good thing opinions vary so much; so much so, I don't have to question my friendship with said people.
Congrats on your awards and your prize - sounds like a yummy treat!
ReplyDeleteGosh ~ those are some fun prizes you received! I haven't had pixie sticks for ever. I bet they still taste as yummy. And so many awards you have won ~ good for you!
ReplyDeleteI had a 'really' moment the other day in Calgary when I overheard a waiter complain to his co-worker that the tip he received from a table he was waiting on wasn't even worth his effort of being nice. "Really?" Do we really have to pay someone to be nice to us??? So sad.
Hope you had a happy Monday Sharon!
xo Catherine
No one's ever given me a blog award before! THANK YOU! I FEEL SO SPECIAL! You made my week :) I'll definitely mention this in my next post! Oh Sharon!
ReplyDeleteCoffee is a great writing snack, by the way. It's much healthier than say, munching on chocolate and chips in my opinion...Good choice!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the awards. That pixie popcorn sounds dangerous!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your awards and thank you for passing one on to me.
ReplyDeleteWash when needed? Hmmm.
Thank you so much, Sharon! What a nice surprise. I'll have to get on it and pass it on.
ReplyDeleteI was petrified of werewolves when I was a kid. My dad would rent movies like Silver Bullet and The Howling, American Werewolf in London, etc.... I'd have nightmares all the time. None of the other stuff really scared me, but werewolves were just that one thing I knew were waiting for me in the woods. lol!
Not so scared of them anymore... actually kind of like them now. Same with spiders... they creeped me out as a kid but now they fascinate me.
Love the shirt tag. Good thing they included that valuable suggestion. :)
Thanks so much, Sharon! Working on a revision of an old PB manuscript. Maybe I can get your thoughts when I am done?
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have lots of interesting things going on as always. I'm going to hop over and meet Bethany now.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the awards and the cool prizes! You are so awesome and they are all well deserved.
ReplyDeleteMy really moments have been lately when I hear what people say to another friend whose father is in a coma. Really? You want to tell him it's for the best???? My friend is hurting, don't you see??? :o)
Have a wonderful day, Sharon!
Congratulations on the yummy prize, and congrats to all the award winners! That shirt tag is priceless!
ReplyDeleteWhat a super prize to win! Congratulations on your win and your awards! Such lovely people you passed them on to as well!
ReplyDeleteWhat a funny tag! I had a bit of a really?!! moment when I tried making a s'more in the microwave today. I had no idea marshmallow could get so big.
Thanks so much for the award! What a lovely prize. And I don't know what I want to be either when I grow up. Glad there are more of us out there. I need to get cracking on the response.
ReplyDeleteSharon! I can't say goodbye to you. I didn't know I could get so attached to an online friend so quickly. Even though I'm not blogging anymore, I can still stop by yours and see what's up with you! :)
ReplyDeleteJudith--You can always email me...
ReplyDeleteLOL You gave me my first laught his morning with the tag on the shirt:))
ReplyDeleteYay! Thank you for the award! And I'm totally laughing at your #6 ~ I can relate!
