Day 15, 16, and 17 and your last chance to enter the REALLY RANDOM DOUBLE T-800 BLOG PARTY GRAND PRIZE

Yesterday's winners were:
Jemi Fraser and Amy Allgeyer Cook

(Swimming's fun, but it sure can tire out a puppy!)

I'm going to switch things up a bit...The flooding and now molding situation at my house is pushing me over the top...So I'm combining the last three days of questions...

(I'm sure you know about Jackee's and my REALLY RANDOM DOUBLE T-800 Blog party, right? If not click here to enter my grand prize giveaway and here to enter Jackee's.)

Today's questions...

(If you want to copy and paste the questions into the comments section, it will make it easier for you and for me...)
  1. It's about 4 months until winter...What will you need to protect your hands in the winter?
  2. Journal or computer?

(Some times you feel like a nut. Some times you don't!)
(Is that jingle stuck in your head now???)

3. If you were to find a bone, what would you do with it?
4. What is your favorite fruit roll up flavor?

(Costa Rica...my kind of place!)

The sun is setting on Jackee's and my T-800 blog party...We hope that you've had as much fun as we have!

5. Carry on or cargo?
6. Writer or reader?
7. Tell me something surprising about yourself...

July 30th is the last day to enter Jackee's and my REALLY RANDOM DOUBLE T-800 Blog party. We will announce our Grand Prize (gift card) Giveaways on July 31st!  So be sure you have entered by midnight on Friday, July 30th! If you haven't entered yet be sure and hop back up to the top of this post and enter.

Thanks for joining in on our random fun! We hope that you've had as much fun as we have...

Check back on Saturday on the 31st to see if you won one of the 7 random daily prizes  or are the winner of the GRAND PRIZE (or both).   I'll post what everyone won later next week.  I'm off to visit Susan Fields for a few days next week...(Perhaps that will be just what the doctor ordered for stress management.)

Again, thanks so much for joining in and bearing with me through my floods....

  2. 1. It's about 4 months until winter...What will you need to protect your hands in the winter?
It's already winter here, but anyway...I just let them freeze. :P

    2. Journal or computer?
Both have their good and bad points. Computer is more private, but if your comp crashes, then bye bye journal! Journal has the personal touch of having your own handwriting, but if you lose it, someone might be reading it! I'd go with computer, just because I'm able to keep up with that more.

    3. If you were to find a bone, what would you do with it?
What kind of bone? Food, spit out. Dinosaur, keep it. Human? Well, I dunno about that one. Probably scream and run away.

    4. What is your favorite fruit roll up flavor?
The red one. I think it was raspberry? I dunno, I haven't had one in so long.

    5. Carry on or cargo?
Carry on, because it's THERE with me for the flight.

    6. Writer or reader?
Reader. I can't write for the life of me!

    7. Tell me something surprising about yourself.
Well, to my friends, I think it would be surprising for them to know how much I'm into reading now. All I used to read like a few months ago was manga...

  3. 1)Butter cream from Bodyshop!
    2)Computer!

3)After I scream - chuck it away asap!
4)I have no idea what a fruit roll up is! :-)

5)Err... Carry on up the Khyber? No idea!
    6)Writer!
    7)I'm 41! LOL! It's surprising cos I seriously don't look it (LOL!).

Awwww Sharon I am so so so sorry about the flooding in your basement!! Of course you're stressed!!! I hope you have fun with Susan!!
    Take care

  5. Flooded basements... sheer torture...

    1. Isotoner gloves. Nothing else comes close.
    2. ALWAYS computer--MAC computer. (Can you tell I'm picky?)
    3. Depends on the bone. I'd probably give it to my son. He collects everything gross and dirty.
    4. Hard one. Anything but apricot.
    5. Cargo. I only carry on my laptop.
    6. Both writer and reader. I can't do one without the other.
    7. I long to have a British accent. I wish my husband had one, too (so sexy!)...

Thanks for the questions! They've been fun!

  6. Mold now, too? Yuck! I'm so sorry. This has been a rough month for you. Try and survive!

  7. Q: It's about 4 months until winter...What will you need to protect your hands in the winter?
A: Gloves, but not just any, we're talking adorable gloves that allow your fingers to breathe when you are inside and letting the rest of your hand and wrist warm up :)

    Q: Journal or computer?
A: This one is tough, depends on the situation. Ideas go in an adorable new journal, stories sneak in my computer!

Q: If you were to find a bone, what would you do with it?
A: Make sure it's not from a human body.

Q: What is your favorite fruit roll up flavor?
A: Berry Swirl (something like that... I love the multiple berry flavors!)

    Q: Carry on or cargo?
A: Both, carry on's are perfect for the necessities, cargo is so you have room for gifts when you venture back!

    Q: Writer or reader?
A: Is this a joke?? I'm both of course, I love writing but I love reading... these questions are beginning to be a bit unfair!

Q: Tell me something surprising about yourself....
A: I've had to dig myself out of my car before when I was in a wreck and the snow was coming down so heavily no one could see me. I had to save myself.... Brrr!!!

  8. Hoping your rain is still holding off!

1 - great big fuzzy mitts & lots of hand cream
    2 - computer
3 - not pick it up! Unless we're talking dinosaur bones, in which case it's pretty cool!
4 - sadly I don't do candy much - but probably raspberry or strawberry
5 - carry on - terrified of losing stuff!
6 - that's a mean question! I've been a reader for longer, but writing is my passion
7 - surprising? I still get very sad when I take the neck etc out of the turkey - but I don't cry any more :)

  9. 1. It's about 4 months until winter...What will you need to protect your hands in the winter?
A - Battery-powered heated gloves. Once the temp dips below 60, my hands and feet are FREEZING.

    2. Journal or computer?
A - Computer...though there will always be an attraction to a blank sheet of notebook paper.

    3. If you were to find a bone, what would you do with it?
A - Call the university because this, my friends, is no ordinary bone. This HAS to be a dinosaur bone. Can I find it in the park so the archaelogists don't dig up my yard for months on end?

    4. What is your favorite fruit roll up flavor?
A - My kids love the red ones!

    5. Carry on or cargo?
A - Carry on whenever possible.

    6. Writer or reader?
A - Is 'both' a cop out? Okay, I'll say "writer" so send a message out into the universe that I'm ready for the title.

    7. Tell me something surprising about yourself.
This is hard because I swear I'm the most ordinary person in the world. Okay, how about this: If the lid is left open on a box of cereal or crackers or whatever, I can no longer eat anything out of the box for fear something crawled in. Yes, I know critters can get in there even when the box is closed, but my brain is irrational.

    5. Carry on or cargo?
Carry on in general, both for a long trip.

    6. Writer or reader?
    Love to read.

    7. Tell me something surprising about yourself....
I got a tattoo across my stomach of the sun, crescent moon and stars when I was 24 (almost 21 years ago when it wasn't yet popular); when I was 39, I had my belly button pierced (resisted it for years, didn't really care to, but it was symbolic for Nik) in honor of my Nikki=she was my baby, the center of my universe in so many ways...bonus: I have had a mad crush on Lenny Kravitz forever!

  16. Wow. You've got a lot going on over here. Looks like fun. I wanted to stop by and thank you for stopping by my blog and for your helpful comment about green acorns. I had looked a bit online for info but didn't find anything. Too much rain fits, and that's better than an early fall. Hope your flood damage is repaired soon.
