Yesterday's winners were:
Kelly, Susan and Hema P.
(That's ironic...You never know what's gonna happen with random.org!)
(I'll bet you weren't expecting  a random body part!)

There are only 4 days left in Jackee's and my REALLY RANDOM DOUBLE T-800 Blog party. If you haven't entered my grand prize giveaway, please do so and then enter Jackee's grand prize giveaway. Check back with me daily to answer a few questions worthy of a few small, but random daily prizes...

Today's questions...
  1. Do you have a kitchen?
  2. What's your favorite donut filling?  When was the last time you had it? (OK...I'm hungry now!)
Thanks for joining in on our random fun!

(Jackee and I will not be playing along on each others games as we don't want to mess up any of random.org's karma for future contests we enter...)

Check back tomorrow to see if you won prize number 1or 2.

(Flood Update: Plumbers are on holiday...Will send help next week...Basement almost dry...Homeowner slowly losing her mind due to continuous blowing noise and fear of rain...)

  1. 1. Yes, I have one. I couldn't live without a kitchen since I love to cook. Well, unless you forced me to live for cheap in a Manhattan apartment in a decent neighborhood. Then I'd endure a hot plate. And roaches too.

    2. I like Boston Creme from Dunkin Donuts, and I have NO IDEA the last time I allowed myself to eat one.

  2. 1. Yes, I'll admit it. I'm so ashamed!

    2. Okay, here I go being super geek-snob. I usually only like cake, glazed donuts, BUT when I was in Poland I got hooked on they're pączki, which are essentially filled donuts. The dough's a little different, and they're always glazed. And the best filling in my entire life that I have ever had is rose. It's amazing. I recommend it to everyone!

  3. 1. I do but I don't know why as I hate cooking... but I like eating so I guess that is why I have one! :)
    2. Oddly... I do not like donuts and honestly can't remember when I last had one. I would have to be VERY hungry and VERY desperate to eat a donut. I know... I'm a strange one. :)

    Happy Day to you Sharon!
    xo Catherine

PS ~ hope your basement is OK and the rain has stopped!!!

  4. 1. No. My wife has a kitchen...and I'm only allowed to visit it from time to time! :)

    2. Apple filling. YUM YUM!!

  5. 1.) Yes, but only because it came with the house.

2.) Nutella. I have yet to find this Nutella-filled donut, but when I do, Heaven help my butt and hips.

I got my prize yesterday! :) Thanks so much. I already at some of my goodies.

  6. HA! 1. Um, yeeaah
    2. I LOVE sour cream glazed donuts but I haven't had one in awhile (I can't...yaknow...trying to lose a few)

  7. 1. Yes.
    2. I'm not a big sweet eater=never had a Krispy Kreme in my life.
Hope everything is airing out and you have a good day.

  8. 1. Yes, and it's filthy.

    2. That creamy pudding filling...not the white gunk, but the yellowish stuff, in an eclair. Now I'm hungry! Must. Eat. Breakfast!

  9. 1. yes.

    2. The hole! (Not a huge fan of the filled ones...like a good cruller myself.

  10. 1 Do you have a kitchen?
Yes. That's where all (most) of the food lives until they're (cooked +) eaten.

2 What's your favorite donut filling? When was the last time you had it?
    Krispy Kreme doughnuts! :D Yummy...

  11. Yay! Thanks, Sharon!!
    1. Yup!
    2. Whipped cream filling like in Krispy Kremes. But I prefer cake donuts.

Our Iowa relatives had flooded basements, too. What a mess! Good luck with the cleanup!

  12. That is so funny that all three winners are webinar/Skype attendees! Even though I'm pretty positive I told you not to enter me in the drawing because I've got Winner's Guilt. But since you did, of course I can wait for your visit to receive my prize! And don't enter me anymore, but I'll still answer the questions because they're fun.

    1. Yes, I have a kitchen. It's fairly big, but I'd just love for it to be even bigger.

    2. Guess what - not cherry! Vanilla cstard in my doughnuts, please.

  13. (1) Kitchen, check. Constantly in use.

    (2) Mmmmm. Raspberry.

    Amy :)

  14. Woohoo, Sharon! Your blog has helped me break my "no winners luck"! Thank you.

Yes, I have a kitchen, though I wish I didn't at times (especially when I'm deep into writing and the kitchen beckons).

My favorite donut filling is no-filling -- I like the plain, glazed ones the best.

  15. Congrats to the winners!!

I *do* have a kitchen. I love my kitchen and spend lots of time in it.

I'm a vanilla custard lover, but I would like a cherry filled donut. Am also interested in that apple-filled donut DL was talking about. Where'd he get that, huh?

  16. 1. Yes indeed.
    2. Cream Cheese...oh, wait, that was a bagel.

p.s. Got something in the mail, thanks, Dad won't let me opening until the picture lady gets home!

  17. Do you have a kitchen? Of course!
What's your favorite donut filling? When was the last time you had it? I love eclairs with that delicious pudding. Probably it has been 9 years since the bakery I loved went out of business!

  18. 1. Spend more time in my kitchen than any other room in the house!

    2. I'm not a huge fan of donuts, especially the filled kind. I do like a Krispy Kreme glazed every now and then, though!

I hope your house is getting back to normal soon!

  19. 1) Yes
    2) Custard donut!! I love custard donuts!! And I had some last Friday!! Yay!

I'm so sorry to hear about your basement!! Plumbers on holiday?!?!? Oh dear!! I hope they return soon!

    Take care

  20. I DO have a kitchen, as a matter of fact. In desperate need of updating, but I do have one!

I like either custard or whipped creme. No fruit/jams as a rule...and it's been probably a YEAR since I had one.

Crossing fingers you'll get your basement back in order soon!

  21. Kitchen? No. I prefer to call it a restaurant since my kids seem to think I'll prepare whatever the hell they're in the mood for. WRONG.

Favorite donut filling? Boston Creme Donut. Haven't had one in, ooh, I dunno, years probably. No good reason why.

  22. Congrats to the winners!!

1: I have a kitchen. I like to cook “sometimes”

2: I'm a vanilla custard lover as well.

I’ll also wish for no rain, and you’ll be in my prayers.

  23. 1. Yes I have a kitchen and the hubs would like me to cook in it more but I'm afraid I'm not the best cook.
    2. Creme filled... last friday and it was delicious.

  24. Can't believe your plumber is off! I'll cross my fingers for no rain!

    1 - Of course - I even use it :)
2 - I haven't had a filled donut in years, maybe decades! But I used to love those ones with the raspberry filling inside.

  25. hi miss sharon! yikes! a random body part. i hope its attached to someones body. ha ha. heres my answers for today

    1. nope. we cook on a fire in the back yard. ha ha. for real we have a nice yellow kitchen and mostly my brother does the cooking. im a good nuker. :)

    2. i love boston cream donuts. thats the ones with custard inside and chocolate frosting on the outside. i could eat a bunch of them all at one time. i didnt have one for a long time but now i want to get one or two or three or lots more. ha ha.

    ...hugs from lenny

  26. Yes, I do have a kitchen, now. But there was a time when all I had to cook in was an old electric, aluminum popcorn kettle. Mostly, I ate soup and poached eggs.

Ooh! My favorite donut filling? Do I hafta' choose? I either like custard or chocolate, but its so hard to choose. Oh, alright, then; I choose custard... but only if I can have chocolate next time. *grin*

    ~ Yaya

  27. 1. Yes
    2. Lemon, but it's been over a year since I've had it.

  28. 1. Well, we have a room in the house that is laughingly called a kitchen...it's more of a wee box that has a cooker and a sink in it! (Our house is over 300 years old so the rooms are all higglety pigglety)

    2. My husband calls me a donut cause he claims I have a hole where my brain should be (to be fair sometimes he has a point!) so I tend to stay away from donuts...canabalism is not socially acceptable :-)

Ps. I think your blog is fab and shall definitely be back
