Ending 2011 On A Positive Note (and a publication)



I am excited to end 2011 on a high note.  My article, TO BLOG OR NOT TO BLOG...That is the Question, was published in the December issue of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, Missouri Newsletter.  In the article I mention (without names) a couple of special friends I've met because of blogging and some of the opportunities I've had because of blogging.  I also mention The A-Z Challenge sponsored by Arlee Bird.  ( I know a lot of you did it last year.)  It will be A-Z time soon...

Blogging has really made a huge impact on my writing life and my personal life.  I feel like I have gained so much by having YOU as my friends.  I hope that you have found lots of friends in blogland like I have.

Thank you for being my friend!  (HUG)

I hope that 2012 brings you good health, good friends, true love, happiness and (if you are a writer) an agent & a book contract.

    That's awesome news you getting your article published! I'm really pleased for you and may the New Year bring you further inspiration.
    Ah yes, that blogging 'challenge'. Something about bring further awareness of the alphabet. No doubt, I shall do a few satire postings about the A to Z Challenge :)
    And indeed, the great blogging community has been a revelation. The positive interaction we share can, I hope, make this a kinder, caring, more compassionate world. This diversity. Proof that we are all different yet all equal.

    What a way to end the year, Sharon! Congrats! Yes, I have made some bloggie friends but I much enjoy meeting friends face-to-face so we can enjoy a nice conversation over a glass of wine or a cup of coffee ;)

    This is so nice. Getting published is really nice. A few other blogger friends of mine are getting published in 2011.
    I agree with you blogging brings us close to our hobby of writing. It is fun. I like to read more than I write. This way I feel enriched.
