I'm not sure if I have a catch phrase... I need to get one!

  4. Once when my husband was coaching a 7-yr old's soccer game, an over zealous boy started stealing the ball from his teammates. A little girl on his team stopped him in the middle of the field and yelled, "DUDE! He's on your own TEAM!!"

We say that all the time now, when our family is being unhelpful or unkind to each other.

  5. Those pictures are beautiful. I know I've got some special phrases I use but my mind isn't quite up to speed this morning.

  6. Kelly--I think your catch phrase should have something to do with your great smile. :)

Amy--Isn't it fun having a family phrase!

MG--The frozen (hoar) frost was amazing!

Tamika--Thanks. :) The cold weather here pays off in pretty pictures...

  7. Those pictures are stunning, Sharon! I love them. I would hang them on my walls in pretty frames.

My favorite phrase is "Lord love a duck!" I use it all the time when I'm tired or frustrated or bored. It was something my best friend's mother always said when we were young. :-)

  8. Shannon--Thanks for the compliment on the pics. I should have taken them in black and white...

I love your phrase! It sounds like something a character in a book would say. I can just see a grandma in a garden picking vegetables and exclaiming, "Lord love a duck, there's a rose growing in my green bean plant."

  9. I LOVE Amy's phrase - I think I'm going to have to start using that in our family, especially when the kids are at each other's throats. Okay, I remembered a phrase that always makes me smile. When my sister wants her dog to come over so she can pet her, she says "Come here and give me some fur."

  10. Susan--LOL, That sounds like something Bella could say to Jacob. :)

  11. Wow, that frost is absolutely beautiful. I love winter when I can stay inside, sipping hot chocolate and reading blogs.

Catch phrase... Um, I'm coming up blank!

  12. Elana--I seem to spend a good portion of my time shoveling, blowing snow or scraping ice off my drive...

I think having a teenager helps with the phrases thing....

  13. Beautiful pictures! If you took them you have a real knack!

One of my favorite sayings is "weak sauce". As in that girl's fakey smile is weak sauce.

  14. Jackee--Thanks, I took them. The only pictures I've posted that were taken by someone other than me were by my husband (crock pictures) or someone I handed my camera to, so I could be in the picture.

I love "weak sauce!" Thanks for sharing.
