What Happens in Vegas...part one

Sorry I was absent from Blogland last week.
It was my Brilliant Husband's and my 25th anniversary.
We took a four day weekend and went to Las Vegas...alone.
This was the view of the Strip from our room...
This was looking the other direction...Check out those beautiful mountains!
Our lovely room at the Mirage...

 Our bathroom...
Isn't this great carpet...(Yeah, I know photographing the carpet is strange.)
Twenty-five years is a long time to stay together...
But a trip to Vegas is a nice reward for being a  loving girlfriend for two years and a devoted wife for 25 years.
I know  you are all worried that I lost Katherine's college money...but we  I didn't.
I played around $5 in slots at about 12 casinos... (I used a lot of self-control!)
We went to Cirque Du Soleil The Beatles LOVE show...It was super!

Have you been to Las Vegas?  What did you think???

  3. Congratulations on 25 years, Sharon and hubby. What a wonderful get-away. The room is beautiful, and what a gorgeous view. That's amazing that you only gambled $5! Wow, what will power.

I love Vegas and Laughlin. Once or twice a year I go with my mom on the senior citizens bus for two nights, three days of fun. We have so much fun and lots of laughs. We saw Phantom of the Opera one time. It was great!

Cheers to your silver wedding anniversary!

  6. Belated happy anniversary! What a fun way to celebrate. I've never been, though my dad and his wife went in March (first time). They saw the Cirque du Soleil show as well and really enjoyed it, said that was the best part of their trip.

Glad you restrained yourself at the slots. LOL.

  9. Great pics! We haven't been to Vegas in a while but love goings. So much fun walking up and down the sidewalks and through the newer casinos. Now I want to go. Let's see what Priceline has to offer.

  13. Congrats on the silver anniversary! Vegas.... what fun! I am so glad you both had such a great time. You both look so happy and in love still.

I lived in Vegas for three years. To visit it great, but to live one feel land locked. Those lovely mountains tend to close in on you after a while especially living most of your life no more than a few miles from the ocean.

I haven't been back since 2001 when my Dad passed away. Not a good time, but now it might be fun for a long weekend. HMMMMMMM.

  24. CONGRATS on 25 years! Looks like you had a nice time.

I've been to Vegas, way back in 1990, if I remember right. It was nice, but I've never had a desire to go back.
