My favorite paradise would be anytime I have the opportunity to take a walk under the trees, with a cool breeze, watching my kids enjoy nature's wonders and bounties. We live half a mile from a Game and Fish lake, so when the weather is good and the homework is done we walk to the lake. We have seen tri-colored herons, king fishers, ducks, canada geese, long-legged storks, fresh water gulls at the lake. This summer the lake was drained partially for landowners to repair fishing docks. The kids and I decided to walk in the bottom of the lake bed when it was sufficiently dry. We walked about a quarter of a mile across the drier spots, unfortunately we forgot the dry route back and we all got our shoes stuck in the stinky mud. We laughed while we squirmed out of our soaked shoes.<br />My second paradise would be curled up on my corner of the couch with a cup of tea or coffee and a good sitcom. Between kids activities, work, church, and 4-H that is a welcome rarity.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01596877169625581317noreply@blogger.com
